Dr. Raafia Memon, MD

Dr. Memon is a board certified endocrinologist with training and experience in treating patients with diabetes, obesity, PCOS, thyroid, parathyroid, metabolic bone, pituitary and adrenal disorders.

She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s University Hospital, PA where she also served as a chief resident in her third year of residency. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at University of Maryland Medical Center Baltimore, MD where she was awarded the fellow teacher of the award both years and the “Best Endocrine Scholar” award.

She was named in Delaware Top Doctors in 2020 and 2022. Dr. Memon has presented at national, state and regional levels. She is an active member of Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). She is also a reviewer for scientific journals and has won awards for clinical research and teaching.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and exploring local farmer’s markets.
