Dr. Sujata Sarkar, MD

Dr. Sarkar is a board certified rheumatologist with training and experience in treating patients with lupus, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, vasculitis, Sjogren’s syndrome and other autoimmune conditions.

She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Metrohealth Medical Center, Ohio. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Rheumatology at University of Michigan, MI. She has been in practice for 20 years. Dr. Sarkar presents at national, state and regional levels. She is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and member of American College of Physicians. She is active in scholarly activity and has had national and foundation research awards. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and tending to her vegetable garden and her fruit trees.
