Glenda Wheeler, APRN, FNP-C, ENP-C

Glenda Wheeler, APRN, FNP-C, ENP-C, is a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with dual certifications in Family Practice and Emergency Care through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Glenda pursued her Master’s in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner degree at Fort Hays State University. Her career began at Hays Medical Center, where she worked on the surgical floor before moving on to Trego County, serving as an RN in various roles, including the ER and outpatient care. Since earning her Nurse Practitioner credentials, she has worked at Ness County Hospital, Bluestem Medical in Quinter, and Rooks County Medical in Plainville, Kansas.

Glenda lives in Hays with her husband, Matt, and together they enjoy traveling, restoring antique vehicles, and spending time with friends and family. Glenda has visited five continents and looks forward to exploring two more, while Matt has already achieved his goal of visiting all 50 states. They share a blended family of four adult children living across Kansas, Minnesota, and California. In her free time, Glenda enjoys golfing, reading, outdoor activities, and helping with restoration projects, though she admits Matt handles most of the heavy lifting.
